1. How long have you been working with Pyramid Solutions?

ProfitStars has been leveraging our relationship with Pyramid for 10 years now.

2. Before working with Pyramid, what were the biggest bottlenecks you faced?

We wanted to expand by changing to a variable staffing model, but we had to stay within budget and manage the risks. We knew quality work was happening in India and did not question whether it could be done; we just needed to find someone to fulfill our need and work with us to define the outsource model that works for us.

3. How has Pyramid Solutions helped you break these bottlenecks?

Pyramid provided an agile staffing model: they work offshore in a very different way, as each of their offshore teams correspond with a team based here in the U.S. Pyramid delivers a flexible model of operation, a quick ramp-up time to augment our team efforts, and an understanding of our financial space vertical and innovation goals.

4. What makes Pyramid Solutions different from the competition in your eyes?

There are multiple reasons Pyramid stands out. First, we wanted a smaller company that could provide the face time and support we needed and had the expert skillset we require. Second, the people make a difference. We have been working with the same team for a long time and have built a strong, trusting relationship. Third, they are great at getting us the resources we need when we need them.

5. What tangible items did Pyramid Solutions provide your company? 

We heard a lot of stories about offshore work being poor quality. With Pyramid, we were able to interview people ourselves, treat them like an extension of our team, and be involved with annual reviews—all of which has helped drive quality and strengthen our relationship. We have economically extended our development capacity by successfully working with Pyramid.

6. Is there any other item that you would like to highlight regarding Pyramid Solutions? 

Pyramid has provided us with the flexibility to make changes if something isn’t working. They also have a very quick turnaround time on any request we make. We know that they can respond in a timely manner—a critical trait when working with some of the largest financial institutions in the world.
